I have spent many of my years designing, developing and patenting a number of new and advanced, high performance fluid control systems, and then putting great effort into demonstrating these new products to major corporations, only to often run into a brick wall with management with their decisions to not commercialize my designs, regardless of the improvement in performance I had demonstrated.
Forming Vapor Trail Racing in 2001 with my development team provided me with a badly needed breath of fresh air! We quickly found the motorsports industry to be a MORE performance driven and LESS politically driven workplace. This industry is openly hungry for new Technology which can improve the performance of race cars, and is very receptive to testing and adopting new products which prove out on the track to work better. It continues to be very exciting and gratifying to participate in the raw competitive nature of this highly technical “let’s get it on” sport, and to help teams find their way to the victory circles and the record books!
