In the beginning...
Fluid blended with speed
The formation of Denver-based
(VTR) was a natural occurrence. This new company came to life in the vortex of activity between hydraulics expert JoeFlow and auto race expert and former LeMans champion Price Cobb. Both, having an obsessive passion for their professional livelihoods, soon discovered that the combined know-how could produce exciting new automotive design concepts. Price's clear understanding of the design and operation of a race car proved to be a potent catalyst for Joe's innovative flare for improved hydraulic system design. Fluid blended with speed. Price's race team, provided these two with an experimental testing ground to try out their new ideas. Through the developmental efforts of Price and Joe, combined with the very capable engineering staffs of VTR's allied engineering firms, VTR launched its first commercialized product, the Knueder™ (pronounced: ka•noo'der) Automatic Tempering Valve in 2002. This was the first in a string of exciting new automotive products for motorsports developed by VTR.
And now today...Perpetual Innovation
VTR first entered the motorsports market in 2002 by introducing the Knueder
This first product was used that very first year to win both the Toyota Atlantic and the American LeMans LMP2 Championships. Good race track results immediately opened the door for VTR to work with a number of top teams in NASCAR, the Indy Racing League, Champ Car Series, American LeMans, Grand American and many more. By working directly with top professional racing teams, VTR has enjoyed an insight which has allowed for the design and development of many more innovative racing fluid control products, which continue to expand and improve the VTR product line.
VTR is now introducing its 20th product!

So far, VTR- Equipped race cars and race boats have won 35 major racing championships! This includes repeat victories at Indianapolis, Daytona, Sebring, Road America and LeMans!
