The formation of Denver-based Vapor Trail Racing was a natural occurrence. This new company came to life in the vortex of activity between hydraulics expert Joe Cohen and auto race expert and former LeMans champion Price Cobb. Both, having an obsessive passion for their professional livelihoods, soon discovered that the combined know-how could produce exciting new automotive design concepts. Price's clear understanding of the design and operation of a race car proved to be a potent catalyst for Joe's innovative flare for improved hydraulic system design. Fluid blended with speed. Price's race team, provided these two with an experimental testing ground to try out their new ideas. Now, through the developmental efforts of Price and Joe, combined with the very capable engineering staffs of Vapor Trail Racing's allied engineering firms, Vapor Trail Racing launched its first commercialized product, the Knueder™ (pronounced: ka•noo'der) Automatic Tempering Valve in 2002. This was the first in a string of promising new automotive products for auto racing developed by Vapor Trail Racing. Stay tuned.
